骨折创伤的中西结合营养治疗目的是为了提高疗效，减少死亡，缩短疗程，通过临床观察认为，中西结合食疗能够加快骨痂形成，减少并发症，促进骨折愈合，继而达到了患者早日康复的目的然而中医食疗是在中医药理论的指导下，研究食物的性能、食物与健康的关系，并利用食物维护健康、防治疾病的方法。笔者对股骨干骨折患者实行中医食疗的研究，有效地提高了骨折患者的治愈率并缩短了病程，促进了骨折的愈合，使患者达到早日康复的目的，同时还可以根据骨折不同时期探讨出一套合理的食疗配方，以利于在中医：及社区服务中推广和应用。
