The method to detect and repair the concrete deterioration was introduced. Studies showed that steel corrosion, freeze-thaw cycles, alkali aggregate reaction and acid erosion were the four main cause of concrete deteriorations. Modern technology can accurately detect the deterioration problem, such as cracking of concrete and rebar corrosion, etc. The non-destructive test methods are hitting method, ultrasonic method, radiation method, infrared analysis, rayleigh wave frequency spectrum, radar and permeability resistance test, etc. The repair of concrete deterioration can be conducted according to the deterioration cause, mainly include rebar corrosion repair, crack repair, flake or honeycomb pitting surface repair, leakage repair and reinforcement, etc.
