This paper introduces the application of floating grinding technology in MK13100/8000-H CNC external cylindrical grinding machine ,which can solve the uncontrollable runout during processing. In addition ,it introduces another solution which can be used for radial and axial clearances and make sure no axial clearance during grinding taper. The detailed principle is to touch ball with arc surface on top of head cup which is covered on the top of tailstock.
