新型城镇化是我国现代化建设的历史任务和扩大内需的最大潜力所在，呈现出加速发展的态势，成为未来一个阶段转变发展方式的战略重点，对产业集聚区发展产生了重大而深远的影响。文章以新型城镇化为研究背景，以新型城镇化新理念为引领，在对产业集聚区发展现状及问题分析的基础上，提出产业集聚区发展要朝着先进产业集群区、现代功能集合区、科技创新试验区、科学发展示范区与改革开放样板区的目标实现优化升级。

The new type of urbanization , which is a historical mission of China ’ s modernization drive , and which also boasts the greatest potential for expanding China ’ s domestic demand ,has been accelerating its pace of devel-opment in recent years .The new type of urbanization is becoming a future strategic focus in the transformation of the mode of development in China , which looks set to exert a profound and far-reaching impact on the development of industrial concentration areas .Against the backdrop of the development of the new type of urbanization and guided by a sets of new concepts in promoting the new type of urbanization , this study presents an investigation into the status quo and the existing problems of the development of industrial concentration areas , based upon which a series of strategies aimed at optimizing and upgrading China ’ s existing industrial concentration areas are proposed .
