《摇篮曲》是印第安著名作家西尔科的重要作品。文章借助于后殖民视角分析了白人殖民者带给主人公阿亚一家人土地沦丧，生活窘困，语言驯服等一系列民族创伤。在其夫弥留之际，阿亚重温民族记忆，回归民族自然传统，重获生活自信，走上民族觉醒之路。因此在后殖民语境下，印第安本民族唯有立足于本民族文化传统才能实现印第安民族意识的苏醒。

Lullaby is an important work written by the famous Indian writer Silko. From the perspective of post-colonialism, the protagonist Ayah has undergone a series of national traumas with her family, including land pillage, poor life as well as language tameness caused by white colonists. Before the death of her husband, Ayah refreshes the national memory, returns to natural traditions of the nation and regains the confidence of life, thus stepping on the way of arousal. So in the context of post-colonialism, for Indian people, only deeply rooted in Indian’s cultural traditions can national consciousness be awaken.
