目的:调查分析七年制医学生对眼科学双语教学的需求、评价及影响因素,为进一步改进眼科学双语教学提供依据,以提高眼科学教学效果。方法采用自制调查问卷,对西安交通大学2006级、2007级七年制共126名医学生进行问卷调查,调查内容包括学生外语水平、学生对双语教学的需求和对眼科学双语教学效果的评价。结果60.87%的学生认为开展眼科学双语教学有必要,52.4%的学生认为英语比例占30%-50%是合适的,73.91%的学生认为该课程适合双语授课,66.67%的学生认为教学方式恰当。结论开展双语教学是有必要的,授课过程中口语和 PPT 的双语比例,板书形式,授课教师的英语综合能力,所使用的教材,学生的英语接受能力是影响双语教学效果的主要因素。

Objective The aim is to raise efficiency in bilingual teaching and eventually improve the teaching quality in ophthalmology by analyzing the influencing factor through the feedback from students in the continual undergraduate-graduate program of clinical medicine.Methods A survey,in-cluding English proficiency,demands for bilingual teaching and their evaluation in ophthalmology, was performed in 126 students in the continual undergraduate-graduate prog ram of clinical medicine from grade 2006 and 2007 at Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Medicine by self-designed question-naire.Results 60.87% of students claimed that bilingual teaching is essential for the teaching in oph-thalmology.But the English teaching should not exceed than 50%,suggested by 73.91% of students.There are still 66.67% of students admitted that bilingual teaching is useful in teaching ophthalmology,but the quality needs to be improved.Conclusion It is essential to teach ophthalmolo-gy course with Chinese and English.The teaching efficiency is mainly influenced by the percentage of English in lectures and slides,the style of teachers’presents in the blackboard,the English proficien-cy of teachers,the textbook,and the receptivity of students.
