This paper describes the advancement of testing fiber breaking strength under the condi-tion of constant extension rate,and the effect of sample numbers,extension gap and extension rate on breaking strength of ramie single fiber was studied systematically.These results would lay a foundation for accurate determination of breaking strength of ramie single fiber under constant extension rate.
