It is difficult to install highway-railway overpass on existing railway lines due to the high requirement in construction, security and timeliness, especially for X-type highway arch bridges. This paper, taking highway-railway overpass as the research object, systematically introduces the comparison and selection of construction schemes and the specific technology and safety measures of installation scheme of beaming across lines without protective scaffolding. It then finds out the secure and efficient scheme , which can provide a reference for the simi?lar engineering.
