由于液晶显示器中间隔子的均匀性影响着对比度、色调变化等性能,因此,本文对液晶显示屏间隔子均匀性的检测方法进行了研究。首先分别利用干喷和湿喷法制备了对应的液晶盒,然后采用偏光显徽镜研究了所制备液晶显示屏间隔子的分布特性。研究发现,正常情况下,液晶盒内间隔子最小距离接近20μm,最大距离超过100μm;间隔子分布不良的主要缺陷为间隔子团聚;在实验室条件下,干喷法间隔子团聚比较严重,湿喷法基本上无此现象。所以,利用偏光干涉法,通过调节偏光显徽镜上下偏光片的相对角度,可以在不破坏液晶显示屏的前提下直接观察到其内部的间隔子及间隔子的分布情况。文中还分析了利用偏光干涉检验间隔子均匀性的原理。

In liquid crystal display,the uniformity of spacers influences contrast degree and color tone change,et al.Thus,the test method of uniformity of spacers in LCD is researched in this paper. Firstly,the liquid crystal cells are made by using dry spray method and wet spray method,then the distribution character of spacers is studied by using the polarizing microscope.It is found that,in nor-mal case,the least distance of spacers in LCD is close to 20μm and the largest distance exceeds 100μm.The cluster of spacers is the main defect which leads to badly distribute.Under laboratory condi-tions,the cluster of spacers is more serious by using dry spray method but this phenomenon doesn’t exist basically by using wet spray method.Therefore,by using the way of polarization interference and through adj usting the relative angle of up and down polarized plates of the polarizing microscope, the spacers and distribution of spacers can be directly observed without destroying the LCD.The prin-ciple of the spacers uniformity tested by using polarization interference is also analyzed.
