嵩山地区位于华北克拉通南缘，是我国记录前寒武纪地质的典型地区之一。通过1：5万区域地质调查工作从原登封杂岩新解体出新太古代海神庙花岗岩体。从野外剖面测量和岩石学研究得知岩体主要岩性为片麻状奥长花岗岩、片麻状英云闪长岩、片状斜长角闪岩和片麻状二长花岗岩组成，可为后期研究岩体时代成因和构造环境打好基础。
숭산지구위우화북극랍통남연，시아국기록전한무기지질적전형지구지일。통과1：5만구역지질조사공작종원등봉잡암신해체출신태고대해신묘화강암체。종야외부면측량화암석학연구득지암체주요암성위편마상오장화강암、편마상영운섬장암、편상사장각섬암화편마상이장화강암조성，가위후기연구암체시대성인화구조배경타호기출。
Songshan is the typical area where records of Precambrian geology which located on the southern margin of the North China craton.The Haishenmiao granitic pluton which is disintegrated from Dengfeng com-plex rock by 1:50000 scale regional survey.Where has Austrian gneissic granite,gneissic tonalite rocks,amphi-bolite sheet and gneissic rocks adamellite in the profile.It can do to prepare for the later study of the causes and tectonic environment of granite era.
