Objective To explore the method and effect of transurethral resection in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods 36 cases of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia who were treated in hospital were chose from March 2013 to November 2014 and the patients were randomly divided into study group and control group. 21 patients of study group were given transurethral resection treatment while 15 patients of control group were given conventional surgery treatment. The recovery condition of body was compared between two groups. Results The surgery time, bleeding capacity in operation, postoperative cleansing time and hospitalization days of study group were much more favorable than counterparts of control group. The complication incidence of study group was 4.8%while that was 20.0%of control group. There is significant difference between two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion The patients prostatic hyperplasia use the transurethral resection is conducive to reducing operation bleeding loss and it is easy to operate with high safety. The treatment method has less postoperative complications and is effective in treatment of prostatic hyperplasia.
