Introduction was made to the relevant international standard survey and analysis was made to the concrete merging unit technology application actuality of domestic smart substation from the aspects of independent merging unit, timing synchronization, point to point sampling mode, paralleling and switching functions etc. It is pointed out that the stable synchronization and function integrity would be the future’s trend.
