Based on the successful practice of transplantation with 805 large sizeCastanopisis hystrix inC. hystrix seed garden(ratio of living tree>96%)after three months, this paper explored the transplanting technology of C. hystrix . A scientific and reasonable transplanting design was the basis of a successful transplantation, and a series of necessary technical treatments such as the reasonable pruning at the time of plantlet uprising, firmly bandaged of soil ball, protection in the process of transplantation, engraftment drench rooting agent and root water irrigation, engraftment of tree package and spray humidification were the key technology.
