Protégé是本体构建工具中应用最为广泛的一种开源软件。本研究以 protégé作为知识表示的工具，根据 protégé的功能特点、属性及其知识表示方法，以 RDF 三元组作为中医证候本体的描述框架，在已有的中医顶层本体的基础上，从中医本体的构建原则、顶层设计、形式化定义、形式化描述、类别体系、基于 protégé知识表示方法的中医证候本体中的关系和属性等几个方面探讨构建概念明确、层次清楚、结构清晰的中医证候本体，研究中医本体的构建方法及与其它本体的整合方式、探讨中医术语的形式化表达及其对中医术语标准化的影响。

Protégéis a free,open source ontology editor and framework for building intelligent systems. according to the protégé’s features,attributes and knowledge representation to build Pattern Ontology,we took protégéas a tool of knowledge representation,and analyzed the definitions of the concept systems of TCM pattern that based on Resource Description Framework.Based on upper-level ontology of TCM,this paper built pattern ontology from the aspects of construction principles of pattern ontology,upper-level on-tology,formal definition,formal description,principles of category,property and relations.While,this pa-per studied the integration of TCM ontology and the other ontologies,studied the formal expression of Tra-ditional Chinese Medicine and its impact on standardization of TCM terminology.
