In this paper,on the basis of the physico-chemical section of a wastewater treatment system in a coking plant,the sludge turning phenomenon of inclined plate sedimentation tank was analyzed. The results show that sludge turning problem was solved effectively and production stability was ensured by changing water distribution mode and increasing compressed air agitation.
