个体性思想在先秦哲人思想体系中面目各异。墨子指出个体生存之真正价值在于为群体、为天下奔走，展现了墨子对群体之重视，对个体要求之严酷。韩非子建构一个“要在中央”的统一集权国家，群体价值之实现处于首要位置，主张个体价值往往被掩盖在虚假面目下，成为君主一己私利之体现。墨子、韩非子均主张把群体价值摆放在首位，认为先有群体，后有个体，在彰显群体价值基础上论及个体与个体价值。

Individuality ideology showed different features in the ideology system of the philosophy of the Pre-Qin period.Mo-tse indicated that the real value consisted in serving the collective and the public, which showed that he attached great importance to the collective and put harsh requirements on the individual.While Han Fei advocated establishing a centralized country with “crucial power controlled by central government”,the realization of the collective value comes first.What is more,he believed that the individual value was usually covered under fake appearances and only turned into a reflection of the monarch’s own interest.Both Mo-tse and Han Fei insisted that the collective value should come first, first the collective,then the individual,and barely referred to the individual and the individual value unless they revealed the collective value first.
