The paper mainly introduces the advantages of ground source heat pump and its development trend, the classification and working principle of composite ground source heat pump depend on various forms of cold and heat source. The research status both at home and abroad in different times are expounded, analyzing the reason of heat imbalance and coefficient of performance reduction caused by long-term use of ground source heat pump system. A series of recommendations are proposed to improve the performance of ground source heat pump as the direction for the future research.
