In this paper, the background of forced entry resistant glass appearance and development history are reviewed.The properties of the forced entry resistant glass are concluded.The structures of three different kinds of composite glass including ordinary forced entry resistant glass, bullet-proof forced entry resistant glass and car-used forced entry resistant glass are discussed.Meanwhile, an ultrathin forced entry resistant glass, which is developed in China, is introduced.Besides, the development trends and application prospect of forced entry resistant glass are described.
