通过调查中文系大三本科生的课外阅读情况发现：学生们的课外阅读面广泛，其中汉语言文学书籍的阅读约占了一半，且不同体裁和类型的阅读人数差异较大。课外阅读本学科专业书籍，除了完成学习任务，也满足了自己的兴趣，但影响与制约课外阅读的因素仍然很多。为提高课外阅读效果，建议教师因势利导，客观向学生介绍本专业的实际情况及就业前景，改进教学方法，加强课内引导及课外督促，排除课外阅读的障碍。

Based on the investigation of the Chinese undergraduate extracurricular reading, the author found that the students’ extracurricular reading is very wide, and Chinese language and literature books account for half of the reading materials, and books of different genres and types are read by different numbers of people. The reasons for students’ extracurricular reading are primarily to meet their interests and to better accomplish the major-related learning tasks, but many factors inlfuence and restrict their extracurricular reading. To improve the effects of extracurricular reading, the author think teachers should objectively describe the actual situation and the employment prospects to students, and improve teaching methods, strengthen the curricular and extra-curricular guidance and supervision so as to remove the barriers of extracurricular reading.
