日本东亚同文会于1920年发行《支那省别全志》（第十四卷：福建省），比较详细地记录了清末民初（1907—1917）福建省的地理、城镇、交通、物产、经济、商业、金融等状况。日本东亚同文会作为侵华日军的帮凶，为侵华战争做准备，并为日军提供了地情资料。该卷志书记述重点突出，调查手段先进，客观上具有一定的地情和史料价值。

The East Asia common culture committee of Japan issued Complete Record of Provinces in Shina (14th volume:Fujian Province)in 1920.It detailedly records the condition of Fujian Province in the late Q ing D ynasty and the early republicof china in terms of geography, towns, transportation, economy and commerce. As the accomplice of the Japanese invading troops, the East Asia common culture committee of Japan made preparations for the invasion wars. It provided geographical information for them. The record of the volume highlights key points with advanced investigation methods. So it is of some value in the aspects of geographical information and historical data.
