以黎明、丰锦等辽宁省不同时期的有代表性的主栽品种为材料，对这些品种的株形特征进行了比较，结果表明，随着品种的更替，水稻单产不断提高，品种的穗粒数明显增加，而穗数则有所降低，粒重变化不明显。早期品种单株叶面积显著大于后来的水稻品种，而20世纪90年代后育成品种穗长和一次枝梗数量几乎没有变化，二次枝粳数量的显著增加，提高了着粒密度，进而使每穗粒数有所增加。

Using the typical leading rice varieties among different eras in Liaoning province such as Liming and Fengjin as materials,the plant type characteristics were compared.Results show that,with the modifica-tion and replacement of the varieties,the yield of rice constantly rise,the grain numbers per panicle improve significantly,while the panicle numbers per hill decrease to certain extent,grain weight changes not signifi-cantly.The earlier varieties is significantly larger than latter varieties in leaf area per plant.For the varieties bred after 1990’s,there is hardly any changes in the panicle length and the first branches number,but there is a significant increase in the second branches numbers which improved the grain density per panicle and hence increased the grain numbers per panicle.
