改革开放以来，我国社会转型的加速进行，引发了政治、经济和文化等领域的深层变革。在社会转型的背景之下，职业教育资源配置方式也随之不断发生变迁。职业教育作为一种准公共产品，既需要政府发挥宏观调控的作用，也需要市场发挥微观调节的作用。在社会主义市场经济体制下，应该着力发挥市场在职业教育资源配置中的决定性作用，充分利用市场机制提高职业教育资源配置的效率和效益，使政府与市场各就其位。唯有如此，方能实现职业教育资源的优化配置。
