CESSNA172R flight flap control system has failed many times.In the flap system faults, the flaps electric switch (including micro electric switch and the limit electric switch, similarly hereinafter) faults accounting for the most , are a total of 66%. Engineering maintenance personnel found out the cause of the switch failure through summarizing and analyzing the characteristics of the switch failure,and adopted a series of reliable control measures.Frequent switch faults have been effectively controlled after specifying the way of maintenance and replacing the switches polluted seriously, which improves the safety and reliability of the plane .So far,it have obtained better results.
