至今为止，糖尿病肾病的病因及其发病机制尚不明确。近年来大量研究表明，炎症在糖尿病肾病发生和持续进展中起关键作用。 Toll样受体4可通过髓样分化因子88（ MyD88）以依赖性和非依赖性等途径激活下游信号分子，引发促炎症细胞因子的释放而发挥免疫应答效应。本文就糖尿病肾病发病炎症的机制及其与Toll样受体4的关系做一综述。

So far, the etiology and pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy have not been clear.Recent studies indicated that inflammatory factors play important roles in the pathogenesis and development of diabetic nephropathy.While Toll like receptor 4 can activate the downstream sig-nal molecules through the myeloid differentiation factor 88 ( MyD88 ) depen-dent and the MyD88 independent pathway, so as to induce immune responses.This article makes a new survey on the pathogene-sis of diabetic nephropathy inflammation and its relationship with Toll like receptor 4.
