高管团队在当今企业战略决策和实施过程中扮演着关键角色,高管团队构成(异质性)无疑会影响企业的生存与发展。基于我国中小上市公司的年报数据,研究高管团队异质性与企业绩效的关系,以及管理自主权对这两者关系的调节效应。研究结果显示,高管团队年龄异质性、任期异质性、职业背景异质性越高,企业绩效表现越差;另外,管理自主权对高管团队异质性与企业绩效之间的关系具有显著调节作用。

Top management team plays a key role in the process of the enterprise strategic decision making and implemen-tation,and the executive team structure (heterogeneity)will affect the survival and development of enterprises.Based on the annual data of China's small and medium -sized listed companies in China,this paper explores the relationship between top management team heterogeneity and enterprise performance,and the mediating role of managerial discretion in the rela-tionship between top management team heterogeneity and enterprise performance.The empirical results indicate that the higher degree of age heterogeneity,term heterogeneity,occupation background heterogeneity in top management team,the worse enterprise performance will be.In addition,the managerial discretion plays the moderating role in the relationship between top management team heterogeneity and enterprise performance.
