Structure optimum is the keynote of the development of science and technology service industry.This article de-fines the connotation of science and technology service industry firstly,draws lessons from the experience of accelerated de-velopment of science and technology service industry at home and abroad,observes from internal structure of system and ex-ternal impetus,analyzes the mechanisms of three patterns,which are drives of technological innovation,drives of emerging service industries,and innovative platform support,and takes Guangdong as an example finally,in order to explore the practices of structure optimum of science and technology service industry in this province.
