Vickers hardness test has advantages of high precision and wide application. But it has great manual operation error and limitation. The Vickers hardness test platform is set up base on machine vision method in this paper. Through acquiring and processing the images in dentation, hardness value is obtained by calculating. Its feasibility is verified through experiment.
