The shaft of high pressure pipe in the Second Grade Jinping hydraulic Power Station Project, which is 240 meters high, has to be excavated total height at one time since no access can be used for gradual construction, the project is great difficulty and high technology demanding. This article, seriatim analyses and summarises the excavation&reinforcement, verticle transportation programme and the technical difficulty during the excavation&reinforcement of the shaft in the SecondGrade Jinping hydraulic Power Station Project, On accountant of its simple construction method, low cost and easy popularization, it’s worth using for reference as to similar high presuure shaft construction.
