消极课堂沉默一直是影响教学效果的不利因素,大学英语教师为了克服英语课堂沉默,应不断丰富自身的教学方法、手段。基于分析导致该现象的学生和文化因素,从教学视角提出改变课堂沉默的对策:即教师的人格魅力、变化的教学方法以及完善的竞争机制。

Passive classroom reticence is the unfavorable factor to influence teaching effect. In order to overcome this phenomenon, college English teachers should keep on enriching their teaching methods and approaches. Based on the analysis of students and cul?tural factors leading to this phenomenon, the countermeasures of changing classroom reticence are put forward from the perspective of teaching, that is, teacher’s personal charm, changed teaching methods and perfect competition mechanism.
