In the article, it introduced a new maize variety–Jiachang 990 which has the features of high yield, disease resistance and wide adaptability, expounded its variety origin, breeding story, features, parents, regeneration and production key points. The result shows that Jiachang 990 has the effect of obvious yield increasing compared to the reference, the increasing rate is 10.2%~24.0%.
