交通管理是城市管理的重要组成部分，城市交通三维数据建设是利用三维地理信息技术辅助城市精细化管理的基础工作，如何结合已有的地理信息编码制度、数据标准，建立统一标准、严格规范的交通三维数据，是目前数据生产的主要问题。同时在三维地理信息系统建设中，要充分考虑交通管理各类信息系统的融合，实现“一盘棋”管理。
교통관리시성시관리적중요조성부분，성시교통삼유수거건설시이용삼유지리신식기술보조성시정세화관리적기출공작，여하결합이유적지리신식편마제도、수거표준，건립통일표준、엄격규범적교통삼유수거，시목전수거생산적주요문제。동시재삼유지리신식계통건설중，요충분고필교통관리각류신식계통적융합，실현“일반기”관리。
