血管内皮是具有高度代谢活性和分泌活性的器官,它既是感应细胞,能感知血液中的切应力、压力、炎性信号、激素水平等信息,同时又是效应细胞,通过释放活性物质对这些信息作出反应,维持着血液的正常流动,起着血液与组织液间的屏障作用,而且它分泌的多种血管活性物质对维持血管壁张力、管壁的炎症修复和血管增生也具有重要作用。内皮细胞的功能障碍或损伤在动脉粥样硬化中起到了重要的作用。本文总结了近年来基因检测技术等在血管内皮细胞基因表达谱研究中的应用,介绍了通过基因芯片技术分析得出的动脉内皮细胞的一些候选基因和信号通路,为寻找主要动脉内皮细胞的基因标志物、制定基因治疗策略及抗动脉硬化药物研发奠定基础。

Endothelium is an organ with the highly metabolic activity and endocrine activity . It has both sensing cells which can sense the information of shear , pressure , inflammation and hormone , etc . and also has effector cells which response to these information by producing active substances to function in several aspects . The roles of the endothelium include the maintaining of the normal flow of blood , the barrier between blood and tissue fluid . The keeping of wall strain , the repair of vessel wall in inflammation and the proliferation of vessels are also supported by the active substances it secrets . The dysfunction or injury of endothelial cells plays an important role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis . The current review summarized the application of gene screening technology into the study on the gene expression profiling of endothelial cells , collected the related genes and signaling pathways of arterial endothelium from gene micro‐array which may give some basis for the screening of genetic markers of endothelial cells , making strategy of gene therapy and the developing of drugs against atherosclerosis .
