Objective:To evaluate the nutritional status in patients on maintenance hemodialysis(MHD).Methods:38 patients on MHD were selected as test group and 30 healthy subjects from the health examination center as the controls.Biochemistry and anthropome-try parameters were collected in the two groups. Results:Compared with the healthy control the level of Alb, PA, Hb and LYM was higher than in test group. The level of Scr and MAMC was obviously higher than in test group , but the level of TC and TSF in the two group was not difference. The serum level of Alb, PA and Scr was correlated with malnutrition in patients on MHD(P<0.05), but showed no corre-lation with TC, TSF and MAMC (P>0.05).Conclusion:Malnutrition might be a common complication seen in patients on MHD, which may increase the mortality. For those patients should improved nutrition status, and improved quality of life of the patients.
