随着科技进步，世界沟通紧密，跨文化交流在全球化日益加速的今天蔓延开来，影视作品作为文化交流的主要载体，是当今较为受欢迎的形式，汉英影视翻译成为跨文化交流领域的研究课题，在影视剧的引进过程中，由于翻译不当错失市场，引起观众反感或笑话的现象是频频出现，因此对文化意象的处理成为翻译策略的重点，本文从文化意象的概念及发展状况切入，阐述汉英影视翻译中处理文化意象的重要性，分析目前由于东西方文化差异导致影视翻译中出现文化意象误解的相关问题，最终提出处理影视翻译中不同文化意象的方法策略，以期为相关领域的研究提供有价值的参考。

With the advancement of science and technology and the close communication of the world , cross-cultural communication under globalization enables the film translation in Chinese and English to be a mainstream of the research subject as the film and TV works are the main carrier of the cultural com-munication .In the process of the introduction of TV dramas , improper translation tends to bring about dismal rating and offense to audiences , thus processing of the cultural images becomes the focus of trans-lation.This paper starts from the concept and the development of cultural images to illustrate the impor -tance of the processing of the cultural images in the film translation in Chinese and English and analyses the relevant problems of the misinterpretation of cultural images in the film translation brought by cultural differences between East and West and proposes some strategies to handle different cultural images in translation, hoping to provide reference for the research in the related field .
