在全面分析基于特征的建模技术的基础上，利用Geodatabase面向对象技术和版本管理的双重支持，在基于特征的时空数据模型中引入版本化管理思想，探讨了一种基于Geodatabase的特征-版本时空数据模型构建方法。采用时态版本模式管理和存储抽象生成的独立特征对象，有效地消除了地理空间信息几何分层的弊端，并实现了时空数据的有效存储和多用户并发控制，为地理实体空间信息的历史重构、跟踪变化空间分析等提供一种新的思路。
