The experimental commissioning of the 18F hydro-turbine unit in right bank of the Xiluodu Hydropower Sta-tion is summarized.In the commissioning, manufacturer guarantee values of the unit are examined.The stable operation region of the unit in the whole load range is determined.Also, main vibration frequencies of each operation region are found.These results could be of great use to the safe operation of the hydro-turbine units and the power grid.
