Microchannel heat exchanger is widely used in air conditioner for high heat exchange efficiency and low cost, but less used as evaporator. Based on the measured results of micro-channel evaporator and aluminum fin-copper tube evaporator, this study shows the advantage and disadvantage of micro-channel evaporator.
