放射性口干症是头颈部肿瘤患者接受放疗后的常见并发症，严重影响患者的生存质量。绝大部分患者出现不可逆性唾液腺损失，目前尚无有效疗法。近年来，随着组织工程与干细胞领域的研究进展，干细胞治疗为放射性口干症提供了新的策略。本文就干细胞修复放射性唾液腺损伤的研究进展做一综述。

Hyposalivation underlying xerostomia is seen after radiotherapy for head and neck cancer and re-sults in diminished quality of life for the individuals. Most of the patients have irreversible damage to their salivary glands due to irradiation therapy, there is no effective regenerative treatment yet. Stem cell therapy may provide a means to overcome this problem and improve the quality of life of the patients. This review discusses the current status in stem cell research with respect to their potential to attenuate salivary gland dysfunction.
