沪汉蓉高铁线路中宜昌东至凉雾段2010年设计开通时并不具备开行动车的条件,使高速铁路动车组无法实现全线贯通运行。经过调查研究,在分析宜昌东至凉雾段既有信号技术设备和两端衔接的汉宜、渝利邻线信号技术设备基础上,提出3种开行动车信号技术设备适应性改造方案,并根据工期要求合理选取方案一设计了改造内容。

EMU operating conditions has not been fulfilled for EMU when the section was designed to open between Yichangdong and Liangwu on Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu high-speed rail line in 2010 , which has made it impossible to run high speed EMU on the entire rail line. Through the analysis and study of onsite signal equipment of Yichangdong-Liangwu section and that at the ends of adjacent lines of Han ~ Yi and Yu ~ Li, the paper puts forward three schemes for implementing signal technical adaptability upgrading to run EMU, and selects scheme one to design the upgrading details according to progress schedule.
