In view of the existing problems in traditional teaching of hydropower station automation course,the research and practice of seminar style teaching was carried on.The implementation process and specific methods were described.Teaching practice shows thatseminar style teaching can give full play to the initiative and creativity of students,thus improve the comprehensive quality of students.The successful implementation of the teaching reform will be helpful to other engineering courses.
