孔子论孝,始终贯彻适宜原则.孔子认为,孝不一定有固定的形式和内容,但孝的核心是适宜,即根据各自的具体情况不偏不倚地处理好长辈与晚辈的关系,这样才能做到人人尽孝时时尽孝.这种思想对解决当代养老问题给予了启示:在"四二一"模式家庭逐渐普遍的前提下,居家养老能充分体现适宜原则,是我国当前绝大部分城乡家庭选择的主要养老模式.
