考试是高度集中、高度复杂的认知过程,参照人类的概念化过程及认知模式进行命题工作可成为一种新思路、新方法。本文从认知语言学角度,应用理想化认知模型(ICM)、认知突显观、范畴观及意象图式理论,探讨多项选择词汇题的命题设计原则和方法。得出的结论有:(1)试题的题干应构建一个ICM;(2)目标词与题干应构成角色/背景关系,嵌入于题干所构筑的语义网络体系;(3)干扰项的编写应通过范畴和意象图式实现与目标词的“同质性”。

Examination is a highly brain-engaging and complex cognitive process. Test development by reference to human conceptualization and cognitive modes provides a new mentality and method. This paper, from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, under the theoretical framework of idealized cognitive model, cognitive prominence, categorization and image schema theory, tentatively discusses the design principles and methods of vocabulary multiple-choice items development. Conclusions reached are summarized as follows:(1)The stem of an item should construct one ICM;(2)The target words should generate a figure/ground relationship with the stem and should be embedded within the cognitive semantic network constructed by the stem;(3)The distracters should be of homogeneity to the target words realized via category and image-schema.
