此系统主要的功能是对矿井供电网络和用电设备的监控、停送电管理,同时对煤矿井下供电系统和高低压设备的实时不间断监测、地面远方操作、运行数据统计分析、保护动作记录、井下各用电单位电度计量;并通过系统数据对比,提前排查出供电系统存在问题,有效防止供电事故的出现。具有煤矿井下电力系统事故性质、地点和原因监控能力和手段,当发生煤矿发生瓦斯超限突出等事故时,系统会按照瓦斯电闭锁预案进行远程操作,避免安全事故发生;该系统具有精确计量、电参数数据处理工具、故障波形分析工具和现代故障诊断系统,是信息化高效矿井井下供电系统现代化管理手段,可实现煤矿供电网络和用电设备的系统自动化监控管理。
