艾滋病严重危害人们的健康，目前无预苗，无药物治疗，宣传教育和干预措施是遏制艾滋病流行的最有效策略，中职学生处于身心飞快变化的年龄阶段，有可能因为不正当行为感染艾滋病，学校有责任和义务对学生进行艾滋病宣传教育和干预，向全校师生普及艾滋病防治知识，开展一系列的宣传教育活动，使师生对艾滋病预防知识的知晓率达到100%，并取得家长配合，教师、学生、家长共同参与艾滋病的预防，取得良好效果。
