In demarcation and inversion , the selection of wavelet has artificial uncertainty .Therefore, well seism demarcation, im-pedance inversion and result explanation should be regarded as an integration .Taking logging constraint inversion of field data as an ex-ample, selecting typical well and wavelet to , demarcation, well-side seismic traces inversion experiment was made .From overall opti-mization view, wavelet selection strategy in seismic inversion was discussed .
