大型游乐设施,是指用于经营目的,承载乘客游乐的设施,其范围规定为设计最大运行线速度大于或者等于2m/s,或者运行高度距地面高于或者等于2m的载人大型游乐设施。为满足乘客追求惊险刺激的心理,现代大型游乐设施的运动方式、运行加速度等技术指标日趋复杂和提高,而销轴是大型游乐设施中非常重要的零部件,是用来承受大型游乐设施因剧烈运动而产生的各种复杂应力和冲击载荷的重要零件,如大型游乐设施中的座舱吊挂销轴、传动齿轮、整机运行主轴等。而这些销轴一旦因设计强度不足而发生严重变形甚至断裂,则会产生严重的事故。近年来国内发生的几起大型游乐设施重大伤亡事故,多与机械销轴失效有关。因此大型游乐设施重要销轴的设计应考虑多方面因素和要求,其中主要问题是销轴的选材、结构、强度和刚度。其中对于销轴的强度校核尤为重要,通过校核来确定销轴的设计是否能达到使用要求。
