This article comprehensively summarized the practical doctor‐patient communication skills and proposed several principles of communication .The skills include following the principles ,the verbal communication skills ,the nonverbal communication skills ,the open‐eared skills ,the response skills and emotion communication which were analyzed in detail . Especially on how to use each skill properly ,the article explained them with examples .Meanwhile ,it also explained interactive skills ,the reverse skills and emotion communication in terms of content ,meaning and approaches .Finally ,the authors introduced strategies and solutions to the main common communication disorders in medical practice .
