针对传统无线视频监视系统多存在覆盖范围有限、网络健壮性较差等问题,介绍一种利用 ODMA-WIFI 网络构建的无线视频监视系统。该网络将两种技术的优点有效结合,既发挥了 ODMA(Opportunity Driven Multiple Access)所特有的智慧选径、多跳通信、组网灵活等优势,也弥补了其扩展性差、应用范围窄等不足。在硬件上采用三个通信子层的模块化设计,使组网方式更为灵活,与其相配套的 LRMS 系统可对 ODMA 全网节点进行智能化管理。利用 ODMA-WIFI 成功构建无线视频监控系统表明,在相同的室内环境中,该网络无论在传输效率还是传输距离上,比传统无线网络均有大幅度改善和提高。

In light of the problems of limited covering range and weak networks robustness the traditional wireless video surveillance systems usually have,this article introduces a wireless video surveillance system constructed using ODMA-WIFI network.The network effectively combines the advantages of both techniques.The unique advantages of ODMA,e.g.intelligent path selection,multi-hop communication and more flexible in building the network have been fully applied.Apart from that,its defects i.e.poor scalability and narrow application scope are made up.Modular design with three communication sublayers is used in hardware which makes it more flexible in building the network.The LRMS system matching this system can intelligently manage ODMA in all network nodes.The successful construction of wireless video surveillance system using ODMA-WIFI demonstrates that this network technology outperforms the traditional wireless network in terms of either transmission efficiency or transmission distance with significant amelioration and improvement in same indoor environment.
