Glowworm swarm optimization is a new type of swarm intelligence optimization algorithm by simulating the fireflies in foraging and mating habits of each other due to the light and attract mobile behavior to solve the optimal problem of.The Glowworm swarm optimization has strong robustness and stochastic searching capability, has been widely used in function optimization,clustering problems, robot cooperation,and many other aspects.This article expounds the basic principles of Glowworm swarm optimization,the existing various kinds of improved algorithm is given,and put forward the development direction of Glowworm swarm optimization.
