This paper describes the description method, the test conditions and the related parameters calculation of the random vibration. Combined with the example, the process of the simulation by finite element method of random vibration and its significance for engineering are introduced, in order to provide the guide for carrying out the random vibration test and finite element simulation in the basis of the deeper understanding of the random vibration principle.
